We have been monitoring different weather reports being hopeful that the weather was going to change but unfortunately today the weather has won. The amount of rain we have had today will make it very difficult to get a racing surface on the track.

Read moreThere is no doubt that the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship is the biggest occasion on the country’s speedway calendar, and the Central Energy Trust Arena plays host to thousands of excited fans each year who travel from far and wide to be at this spectacular event.
The Central Energy Trust Arena has been selected as a finalist in the Best Venue category at the 2024 NZ Events Association Awards for the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship, which proudly hosts the iconic event every year. This is a category which sees the ENZED SuperStock Teams Championship a finalist alongside venues such as Eden Park and the Wellington Regional Stadium for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Congratulations to the Central Energy Trust Arena for being announced a finalist, the winner will be announced on Tuesday 27th August.
