What a great way to return to speedway after the ENZED Superstock Teams Champs - just when we’ve got our blood pressure under control, up pops the 248 Superstock Global Challenge with a very strong British and Dutch contingent.
Superstock & Midget Titles On 21 February
Speedway is back on Saturday, 21st February with a huge night of high-octane action from the drop of the flag! Spectacular Superstocks competing for the prestigious Palmerston North PartsWorld 248 Superstock Global Challenge, magnificent Midgets racing wheel-to-wheel for the Dewtec New Zealand Midget Grand Prix, plus the daredevil Sidecars, and the future of speedway Youth Ministocks will make for an action-packed programme, and entertainment for the whole family!
After dubious-looking weather on a great qualifying night, Sunday dawned fine and we all looked forward to another spectacular night of teams racing. Arriving at the track, it was great to see a band on the infield to liven up the atmosphere as the crowds poured in. During the Grand Parade you could feel the electricity in the air - each team was here to win, and it was going to be a great night of racing.
