2023/24 Season Prizegiving

Robertson Prestige International Speedway and Manawatu Speedway Club Inc are proud to announce the 2023/24 Season Prizegiving will be on Saturday 25th May at the Awapuni Function Centre.

Doors will open at 6pm with prizegiving starting at 7pm. Buffet Dinner / Live Music / Cash Bar. Tickets are $75 per person. Please note TIDY DRESS - No jeans, t-shirts or team wear. Tickets are available to purchase from the Speedway Office, Terrace End Used Appliances or Pirie Consultants.

Upcoming Remits Meeting

There will be a remits meeting on Wednesday 22nd May at 7pm in the Speedway Office. All drivers and riders are welcome to come along and have a say about the governance of your sport. This meeting will cover general business for the upcoming SNZ AGM, plus board and president nominations. See you there.

Calendar Update

Upcoming meetings for the remainder of the season have been decided after the rainout on Saturday night.

• 27th April: King of the Arena: Stockcars & Saloons + Sidecar Best Pairs
• 4th May: Grand Finale: Manawatu Superstock & Stockcars Champs + Lucas Oil Superstock & Super Saloon Series Finale + Fireworks

Both meetings start at 5:30pm. There is no racing this Saturday 20th April due to the Superstock Teams Nationals at Auckland's Waikaraka Park.

Tonight's Speedway Cancelled

We have been actively monitoring four different weather reports for tonight’s speedway event. Unfortunately, all weather reports are indicating that there is rain coming, so we have made the tough decision to postpone tonight’s Speedway event.

A full event update relating to the final meetings of the season will be released on Monday.

Ministocks In Paradise

A number of our youngest racers took part in the annual Ministocks in Paradise over the weekend in Rotorua and represented Palmerston North with pride.

Congratulations to 41p Harrison Cheetham for finishing third overall and 24p Ashton Dorn who finished third in the second tier. 74p Kase Williams and 52p Boston Joblin also qualified for the main event and finished in the top eight. Well done to all competitors!

Teams Champs - Qualifying Continues

Qualifying for the ENZED Superstock Champs continues tonight (Sunday 4th), with a grand parade from 5:30pm and includes the international Super Saloons. Finals will be held on Monday night from 5:30pm.
