Robin Pratt Memorial This Weekend
Fast and furious action is back this Saturday 15th November with the 25th Anniversary of the Motor Machinists Robin Pratt Memorial Stockcar Championship. This is one of the most prestigious local titles on offer with a rich history of past legends etching their name on the coveted title, and it is one championship that the locals try to make sure never leaves town. Metal-crunching Stockcar action at its best!
The third meeting of 2025/26 at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway was the Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular. There was a huge crowd in attendance, and it was lovely to see so many families. When the lights went out, the Fireworks were definitely spectacular which was shown with appreciation from the crowd with lots of oohs, ahs and gasps. Truly a fabulous fireworks display from the Kairanga Lions.
Family Fun This Saturday Night
You won't want to miss this exciting night for the whole family on Saturday 8th November at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway for the Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular! The metal-crunching mayhem of the Superstocks and Stockcars battling it out on the track, sensational Super Saloons, AFC Motorcycles Ray Tarrant Memorial Sidecars, D.M.R Metal Recyclers Ramp Race, and to close out the night the Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular is a recipe for dazzling family entertainment.
The weather gods certainly played nice for the second meeting at Robertson Prestige International Speedway Palmerston North. There was sunshine all day with a light breeze, making a great setting for the Stockcar Dash for Cash. The anticipation and excitement around the Central Energy Trust Arena was obvious, even Stu Russell wanted to start the first race with a chequered flag. The meeting started bang on 6:30pm, with a promising 22 races to get through.
