Josh Prentice was back on top of the podium on Saturday night at the Robertson Holden International Speedway, surviving a torrid third heat to be crowned the inaugural Stockcar King of the Arena. A repechage saw 9s Carol Podjursky and 72p Tony Norman added to the 28 finalists from Friday night, before three heats would decide the King of the Arena using the traditional points method. 18p Luke Healey was out of the running early, upside down with 83b Joshua Trott on top. 722p David Lowe took out the opening heat ahead of 6v Dion Mooney, 82p Roydon Winstanley, 1nzs Tyler Walker and 5w Josh Prentice. Lowe didn't last long in the second heat which was won by impressive newcomer 79p Kyle Rowe, followed by 317c Jay Holtham, Trott, Prentice and Winstanley.
Things were incredibly tight at the top with Winstanley, Rowe, Holtham, Prentice and Mooney separated by just one point, meaning the winner would likely come from one of these five drivers with Walker eight points behind in sixth overall. The final heat was a doozy with only 12 cars making the finish line, 9w Bryce Jensen crucially holding up Winstanley to assist his trackmate. 135p Jaden Hall won the race ahead of Walker and 13p Lucas Hey, but fourth was enough for Prentice to add King of the Arena to the many titles he has already won here. Winstanley was three points behind in second overall, with Walker besting Holtham in a runoff to secure the final step on the podium.

Saturday night saw 22g Jason Rees & Callum Innes and 97p Mike Zachan & Ben Fraklin win a heat each, continuing their consistent form to take home the King of the Arena best pairs by a 10 point margin. A much improved showing by 32p Sam Carter & Haydn Combs helped propel Friday night's unbeaten 96p Mark Whye & Jacob Cooper up to second place overall, a point ahead of 12b Daniel Satherley & Adrian Bogan and Saturday night's unbeaten 27a Dylan Moohan & Sean Mason. 8p Rob Miller & Raymond George also won all three of their second night heats but partners 21p Glen Murray & Ann Plummer had an unsuccessful night and finished one point away from the podium, equal with 27b Craig Boaler & Brittany Wealleans and 34v Aaron & Bryce Rose.
