Friday 29th March
Good Friday and what a good night it’s going to be when the 2 Wide Superstock Super Nats are contested! Superstocks are considered the premier class of speedway and these V8 war machines mean business, even more so when there is a championship on the line! Competition-fit local drivers will be at the forefront of the chase, and visiting drivers will be looking to dash the hope of those who try to outrun the fierce challengers.
Add in the 2 Wide Super Saloon Super Nats with their wide tyres, V8 engines and distinctive low sportscar bodies, these drivers are impressive racing wheel-to-wheel every lap! The racing is exhilarating from these drivers, and local Super Saloon drivers including 58p Peter Bengston, 27p Joe Ingram and 79p Richard Dreaver.
Two nights of sensational Midget car racing will be something you don’t want to miss, starting the weekend with the ENZED Midget 30 will be hotly contested. Drivers from Auckland’s Western Springs will be making the trip down the country to contest the local title, the local hard chargers 93p Karl McGill and 41p Shane Dewar and will all be doing their utmost to keep the title honours in town.
A round of the Streetstock Series will have us all reminiscing the glory days of Valiants, Commodores, and Falcons racing side-by-side for the prestigious honours of the Tri Series. With drivers from around the North and South Island and this title is hotly contested and will provide the fans with some spectacular, limited contact racing!
Add in the Brent Lowe Memorial for Stockcars which always provides plenty of action on the track with many local and visiting drivers indicating they are keen to compete for this Memorial title. The metal-crunching Stockcars always put on a stellar show with more on offer with the incentive of lucrative stirrer prizes to further add to the action. Brent Lowe lived for Stockcar action, and this is a fitting tribute to a former battler in the Stockcar ranks. These Stockcars mean business!

Racing is starting at the earlier time of 5:30pm!
