A variety show is on the programme this Saturday night at an earlier start time of 5pm, at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway. When the dirt, dust and explosive entertainment will begin as soon as the green flag drops with the Manawatu TQ Midget & Streetstock Championship!
Ground-shaking Superstocks will be back out on the dirt, with their raw power and distinct sound these V8 war machines mean business! Plus the metal-crunching Stockcars are always willing to put on a show for the fans!
The return of TQ Midgets, with 28 drivers from Western Springs and Hawkes Bay ready to descend and make their mark on the Manawatu TQ Championship! The TQs are pocket rockets on the dirt and display some of the best open-wheel racing!
Six Shooters make their return for their Predator Championship, this reasonably new class to speedway are non-winged Sprintcars running V6 engines. They're eager to put on a show and showcase this class to the fans of Palmerston North, with drivers from Auckland, Baypark and Rotorua - expect spectacular wheel to wheel racing!
The Streetstocks make their return in the Valiants, Commodores and Falcons racing side by side for the prestigious honour of the Manawatu Championship - with drivers from around the North Island this title is hotly contested and will provide the fans with some spectacular limited contact racing!
Rounding out a massive night at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway, Saloons in the shape of Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs make their presence known with fast and furious, doorhandle to doorhandle racing! Admission prices are $25 for an adult (16 years and over), $10 for children aged 8-15, and $60 for a family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Tickets can be purchased from our ticket booths at Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street) and Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 3.30pm. The dirt flies an earlier time of 5pm!
