The carnage of the metal-crunching Stockcars will battle it out to take the prestigious title honours of the Manawatu Stockcar Championship on Saturday 19th November at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway.
Defending champion 172p Daniel Burmeister will be looking to hold onto the accolade and complete back-to-back championship wins, but within grasp of the title after a successful start to the season and showing they are on the pace include previous winner 35p Matt Phippen who is showing that he is at the pointy end, along with 134p Rebecca Barr, 82p Roydon Winstanley, 992p Taylor Lamppa and 79p Kyle Rowe. The Manawatu Stockcar Championship title has a rich history of past champions which makes this a title that is always hotly contested.
The return of the V8 powered Super Modifieds to the Central Energy Trust Arena will see the winged warriors racing wheel-to-wheel around the dirt oval for the King of the Arena Modified Champs. With a line-up including; 1nz Luke Brown, who is one of the finest drivers in the class but hot on his heels will be 2nz Blair McPhee, 17w Jonas England, 63a Daniel Crumpe, 91w Jordan Arapere and the spectacular 119h Brad Lane plus more drivers from around the North Island expect to witness some of the best open-wheel racing in recent years. The Modifieds with their huge wings, wide, wide tyres and thundering V8 engines will have you spellbound! These beasts will literally fly!
Daredevil Sidecars have been setting the dirt oval on fire this season, with their side-by-side fearless racing providing some of the best racing seen in recent times. With a field of Sidecars ready to accelerate your adrenaline, make sure you are here to see the action on the track!
Reminiscing of the old days, the Historic Stockcars are going to be back out on the track - jogging your memories of all the old stockcars with sentimental meaning. The Thunder of Superstocks, and the future of Speedway, Youth Ministocks round out a packed night at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway on Saturday 19th November, with the green flag dropping at 6:30pm

Admission prices are $25 for an Adult (16 years and over), $10 for Children aged 8-15, and $60 for a Family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Tickets can be purchased from our ticket booths on race day at Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 5pm. Gate sales only, cash or EFTPOS. No credit cards, no paywave.
