Here’s the BIG news you have all been waiting for – the NEW Speedway Pit Area is in commission from Monday 28th December 2020 for the Mufflers NZ Saloon Speedweek, Brent Lowe Stockcar Memorial, Manawatu Minisprint Champs and the Demon Energy Ramp Derby!
Competitors – this means a change for your gate of Entry to the Central Energy Trust Arena! Competitors please use the Cook Competitors Gate for entry on Cuba Street; this is situated at the intersection of Cook & Cuba Streets and this gate will open at 2pm. Please note that this gate is cash only, so please be prepared when you arrive at the gate to ensure a smooth entry.
Staff, sponsors and corporate your parking has not changed, please continue to use the Waldegrave Street gate entrance or Gate 1. This gate will open at 4pm, if you are arriving earlier than 4pm please head to the new Competitor Entry Gate on Cuba Street and you will be able to enter the Central Energy Trust Arena this way.
Phase one of the pit area is ready for use, please be aware that there are parts of the development which are still under construction but we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 28th December for the start of a new beginning at the Robertson Holden International Speedway at the Central Energy Trust Arena.
