The future of speedway, Youth Ministocks competed at Paradise Valley Speedway, Rotorua in the weekend and the Palmerston North contracted competitors had a very successful campaign at the biggest Ministock event on the calendar with over 180 competitors!
A highly competitive Stealth Engineering Ministocks in Paradise Tier 1 championship saw 41p Harrison Cheetham place second overall in the championship - congratulations Harrison this is a fantastic achievement! Harrison was joined in the top tier championship by 14p Jayden Clark, 52p Boston Joblin and 24p Ashton Dorn who all deserve a massive congratulations!
The second tier Championship for Seniors saw a Palmerston North podium clean sweep with 23p Kobe Dorn placing first in the championship, 294p Charlie Newman second and 18p Aiden Waihi in third. This is an outstanding achievement; these young drivers have a very promising future within speedway.
Senior Girls podium was also hotly contested by 17p Ella Hislop who placed third overall, another outstanding effort by a 'P' registered driver.
Finally, the Ministocks in Paradise Junior event saw 21p Mason Taylor place fifth overall in the championship among a quality field of drivers. Congratulations to all Youth Ministock competitors who travelled and raced at Ministocks in Paradise and represented Robertson Prestige International Speedway.
