Drivers & Riders Sign Up Night / Manawatu Speedway Club AGM
Speedway drivers and riders, sign-up night for the new 2022/23 season is on Monday 3rd October from 7pm in the J.A Russell Supplies Corporate Lounge, level 4 of the grandstand, Central Energy Trust Arena.
This meeting also doubles as the AGM for the Manawatu Speedway Club.
All competitors are welcome! Come and find out what’s happening for the new 2022/23 speedway season.
Mentor Programme
The mentor programme is compulsory for all new drivers and riders who are returning to the sport who have not competed in the previous 5 years. The mentor programme will be held on Saturday 8th October, 2pm at the Speedway Office, entry via Waldegrave Street.
Greensheeting Dates
We are pleased to announce the following Greensheeting dates;
- Sunday 2nd October: 10am – 1pm, venue to be advised.
- Saturday 8th October: 10am – 1pm, Speedway Shed, entry via Gate 3 Cuba Street (New Pit Gate) only.
- Saturday 15th October: 10am – 2pm, Speedway Shed, entry via Waldegrave Street by the Speedway Shed. After 2pm there will be no green sheeting completed until after the practice if time permits.
- Sunday 16th October: 10am – 1pm, Speedway Shed, entry via Waldegrave Street by the Speedway Shed.
Greensheeting days will only be available for Palmerston North registered vehicles. Bookings are essential, please either email pnspeedway1@xtra.co.nz or contact 06 358 8838 or Puk on 027 227 3101 to book a time.
Please remember to bring your jack, wheel brace & axle stands, as well as helmets will also be required to check head clearances.
