You won't want to miss this exciting night for the whole family on Saturday 14th May at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway with the earlier racing start time of 4pm!
The Super Saloons are hitting the dirt for their Manawatu Championship with drivers from Hawkes Bay, Tauranga and our local drivers wanting to make their presence felt - this is going to be one of the most hotly contested championship titles of the season! The V8-powered Super Saloons racing wheel to wheel, what more could you want!
Minisprints are also competing for their Manawatu Championship, local heroes mixed with drivers from Wanganui and Taranaki will make for some of the best open wheel Minisprint racing seen this season. It will all be on the line for one of the most sought after titles in the Minisprint class. Local drivers including Daniel Nickel, Nathan Jefferies and Ash Emmerson are all sitting well in the season points chase and are likely podium contenders.
The daredevil Sidecars will be racing side by side for the Dowie Contractors Nelson King of the Arena Sidecar Championship, fans are to expect fast and thrilling racing, with initial interest suggesting this is one of the biggest and best Sidecar meetings on offer.
The future of speedway, the Youth Ministock class will also be competing for their Manawatu Championship. Youth Ministocks have fostered many speedway competitors into other classes in speedway, and the skill of these young drivers is something to admire. Local hard-charging drivers Hunter deRidder, Ashton Dorn, Josh Mulcahy and Lewis Ward are all in with a chance of taking the championship honours. The final field of competitors for this championship will be posted on Wednesday.
Rounding out one massive night at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway, includes Superstocks and metal-crunching Stockcars!

Admission prices are $25 for an adult (16 years and over), $10 for children aged 8-15, and $60 for a family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Tickets can be purchased from our ticket booths at Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street) and Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 3pm. The dirt flies at an earlier time of 4pm!
