An action-packed night will be had this Saturday, November 25th at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway, with something on the programme for everyone. The PTS Logistics Superstock Masters - a championship for over 40 year-olds will see the survival of the fittest take the prestigious honours. Add in a Stockcar teams race, Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular and the Jack Links Beef Jerky Ramp Derby, and what a night Saturday is going to be!
The PTS Logistics Superstock Masters has a quality field of drivers from around the North Island making the trip to the Robertson Prestige International Speedway to compete for the title. Drivers including defending champion 19m Kerry Remnant, 8p Scott Miers, 10g Peter Rees, 73a Bryce Marx and 591p Wayne Hemi to name a few of the quality field capped at 26 drivers.

In addition, all Superstock drivers under the age of 40 or not participating in the PTS Logistics Superstock Masters can race and qualify for a Wheeltec NZ $1,000 Dash for Cash event, which will see the top 13 masters drivers mix with the young guns in a one race, Dash for Cash. A total of seven Superstock races in one night - what more could you ask for!
Adding further to the excitement is a Stockcar teams race, when the Palmerston North Pumas take on the Wellington Young Guns in an explosive first teams race of the season. The Pumas will be looking to make a statement and put their best foot forward. Expect plenty of action, team tactics and the battle of the bravest on the track! The Palmerston North Pumas team has been named as: 13p Lucas Hey, 31p Jared Davis, 79p Kyle Rowe, 172p Daniel Burmeister, 223p Raetea Robinson and 667p Hamish McLeod.
Plus, the Stockcar drivers will be also out on the dirt putting their bumper to work, putting on a show for the fans. The Minisprints will be racing wheel-to-wheel putting on a spectacular show with their skilled driving, making for some sensational racing!
A field of road cars with windows and headlights removed will battle it out for the always popular Jack Links Beef Jerky Ramp Demolition Derby. Extra thrills and spills are provided by a ramp that must be negotiated during their travels around the CET Arena, along with duelling the other maniacs on the track. This is always great family entertainment and will leave you in fits of laughter!
Finishing the night with the Manawatu Standard Fireworks Spectacular - the most impressive and biggest Fireworks display in the Manawatu will light up the night sky.
Classes in action are Superstock Masters, Stockcar Teams Race, Superstocks, Stockcars, Minisprints, Adult Ministocks, Ramp Derby.
Rainout tickets issued on Saturday 4th November are valid for this event, or any other event this 2023/24 season excluding the ENZED Superstock Teams Champs on 3rd and 4th February, 2024.
Pre-purchased Ticketek ticket holders who had not arrived at the event or had their ticket scanned or purchased tickets for the 4th & 18th November event; these tickets will become valid for the rescheduled event on 25th November only.
Tickets are available to purchase through Ticketek www.ticketek.co.nz to save standing in a queue (tickets purchased incur an additional service fee), or on race day from Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 5pm.
Admission prices are $25 for an Adult (16 years and over), $10 for Children aged 8-15, and $60 for a Family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Public gates open from 5pm - Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street). Racing starts 6:30pm.
