Speedway is back this Saturday night with a huge night of racing hitting the dirt with Fireworks on and off the track!
Superstocks will line up for the Palmerston North PartsWorld 248 Superstock Global Challenge - New Zealand’s finest drivers along with Chris Brocksopp and Liam Gilbank from the UK and Rick Wobbes from Holland will battle it out for the ultimate 248 Global Superstock supremacy! Robertson Prestige International Speedway is home to many of the country’s fastest and most competitive Superstock drivers who are all in with a chance of winning. Local hard chargers will all have the title hopes within their grasp, but with expected visiting drivers this could be a real battle of the bravest to achieve ultimate success.
Metal crunching Stockcars will be battling it out on Saturday night for the chequered flag. Side-by-side and bumper-to-bumper, the drivers are always willing to put on a show for the fans! These metal crunching, fearless drivers have had a few weeks off the dirt, so expect them to make their impact felt at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway.
Add in Historic Stockcars and this will jog your memory from yester-year, of the good old days of Stockcar racing. The Historic Stockcar class has had a massive revival in the past few years, and Palmerston North Speedway has once again become home to many famous stockcars including replicas of Dave Evans' iconic Stockcars.
The future of speedway, Youth Ministocks round out a huge night of racing, with local contracted drivers taking priority in the entry list and the remainder of the field will be filled with limited numbers of out-of-town drivers. Final drivers list will be posted later in the week.
Rounding out a massive night, fireworks to light up the night sky.
Classes racing are: Superstocks, Stockcars, Historic Stockcars and Youth Ministocks - Limited Field.

Rainout tickets issued on Saturday 4th November are valid for this event, or any other event this 2023/24 season only.
Tickets are available to purchase through Ticketek www.ticketek.co.nz to save standing in a queue (tickets purchased incur an additional service fee), or on race day from Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street) from 4.30pm.
Admission prices are $25 for an Adult (16 years and over), $10 for Children aged 8-15, and $60 for a Family pass of 2 adults and up to four children. Kids aged 7 and under are FREE.
Public gates open from 4.30pm - Gate 1 (Waldegrave Street), Gate 2 (Cuba Street - Bridge) and Gate 3 (Cook Street). Racing Starts 6pm.
