Make sure you’re at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway on Saturday 30th December for the final speedway event of the 2023 year - and what a night it’s going to be! Direct from the USA, Midget superstars Buddy Kofoid and Thomas Meseraull will be racing wheel-to-wheel with a stellar lineup of locals for the Midas International Midget Series.
Buddy Kofoid, hailing from California, has an extensive background in motorsport and is still the youngest driver ever to win an A-Main Sprintcar feature race in 2013 at 11 years-old. Buddy predominately competes in Sprintcars and Midgets, but has been known to race Late Models and has driven for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Buddy really needs no introduction; the World of Outlaws and All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprintcar Series winner this year, along with the achievement of two-time USAC Midget Champion, Prelim Chili Bowl winner and BC39 Champion and you can guarantee that he is willing and eager to build on this performance and wanting to secure a podium finish at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway on Saturday 30th December, 2023.
Thomas Meseraull “T-Mez” hailing originally from California but now resides in Indiana, a full-time USAC National Midget Series driver will be making the trip down under to showcase his skills to the New Zealand fans. A talented driver who holds many USAC National Midget acclaims, this year added a win at the opening night of the 2023 BC39 event in Indianapolis which is the largest USAC Midget National Championship of the year. Following the New Zealand tour, T-Mez will fly back to the USA to compete in the world-renowned Chili Bowl in Tulsa Oklahoma.
