Last week saw Superstock teams racing return, this week it’s time for the metal-crunching Stockcar teams racing to take to the track at the Robertson Prestige International Speedway for the Machinery Specialists Stockcar Teams Invasion! One of the best Stockcar teams racing nights on the calendar this season, with many drivers looking to solidify their places in their home track teams in preparation for the New Zealand Stockcar Teams Champs at Rotorua in March.

Superstock Teams Extravaganza This Saturday

Superstock teams racing makes a return to the Robertson Prestige International Speedway on Saturday 6th December with an earlier start time of 6pm, on a night which will have something on the programme for everyone. Palmerston North Panthers, Manawatu Mustangs, Gisborne Giants and Wanganui Warriors will all take to the track in a round robin of Superstock teams races.  Add to the programme Stockcars, Sidecars, Historic Stockcars and non-teams consolation Superstock races, and it’s going to be one epic night at the home of Superstock teams racing!

A Third Rees Wins Robin Pratt

The sun was out once again for the fourth meeting of 2025/26, the Robin Pratt Stockcar Memorial, and it was looking like being a great meeting. It has sadly been 25 years since Robin Pratt, a 45-year-old Foxton driver, suffered a medical event while racing at Palmerston North. His family donated the trophy to be contested each year in his honour. It is the most prestigious local Stockcar title on offer, with a rich history of past legends names appearing on the trophy including two times winner William Humphries and six times winner Peter Rees.
